This Policy describes information Aurora may process when used in a Discord server. The operator should confirm that this description matches the deployed bot, enabled features, hosting provider, and actual data-retention practices before publishing.
Depending on enabled features, Aurora may process Discord user IDs, server IDs, channel and role IDs, usernames/display names, command inputs, configuration settings, and activity needed to provide server-management, moderation, leveling, economy, reminders, welcome, ticket, or other enabled features.
If ticket features are enabled, ticket content may be copied into a transcript and sent to a configured server log channel and/or the ticket creator by direct message. If logging or moderation features are enabled, relevant server events or message details may be recorded.
Information is used to operate requested commands and features, maintain server settings and feature state, provide moderation and safety tools, generate ticket transcripts, and troubleshoot reliability.
Information may be stored in files or databases in the bot's hosting environment, and hosting logs or backups may also exist. Information is shared with Discord as needed for bot operation and with third-party providers when a feature requires them. Before publishing, identify any external services actually used and remove anything that does not match the deployed bot.
Retention depends on the enabled features and the operator's hosting and backup practices. Saved settings, feature data, logs, or ticket transcripts may remain until removed. The operator must specify the actual retention period and a working process for handling deletion requests before publishing this Policy.
The operator should restrict access to bot tokens, hosting panels, data files, backups, and log channels. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Server administrators can disable features that collect or log information. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact the Aurora operator through the Aurora Support Discord server.
Users must comply with Discord's age requirements and applicable laws. The operator should handle requests and personal information in accordance with applicable privacy law.
This Policy may be updated as Aurora's features or data practices change. The effective date above should be updated when material changes are made.
